Deuteronomy 8:18 remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
God gives us the ability to produce wealth. This fact is so important that it actually CONFIRMS HIS COVENANT.
So we are given the ability to produce wealth, but is that what we are producing? Or are we producing debt? Are we producing materialistic greed? Are we producing fear and uncertainty?
What is the purpose of wealth? Is it to buy stuff? Is it to impress others? Is it to feel better about ourselves? Or does God gave a higher purpose for wealth?
The patriarchs of Scripture were wealthy and left inheritance for future generations. Do you believe that this is possible for you? Do you believe God wants this or you?
